Biography:
Nathaniel Donnett is an interdisciplinary cultural practitioner born in Houston, Texas. He received his B.A. in Fine Arts from Texas Southern University and his MFA from Yale University School of Art. Donnett's practice explores history, socio-politics, culture, space/time, interior/exterior self, everyday poetics, imagination, and race. He has received several awards, including the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship in 2022 and the Houston Region Affiliated Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome in 2024. Donnett's work has been exhibited in various institutions, such as the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Lawndale Art Center, and McClain Gallery.
