Biography:
Anton Scharf was an Austrian photographer who worked in Vienna. He was born in the mid-19th century and died in the early 20th century. Scharf is best known for his portraits of European royalty, including the Serbian prince Milan Obrenović IV. He worked for the National Museum in Belgrade and produced a series of photographs of the prince in 1875. Scharf's work is highly regarded for its technical excellence and historical significance.
