McCoy in 1848 as the J.W.McCoy Stoneware company. In 1910, the Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company was established and continued production until 1990. The company is known for producing a wide range of pottery, including the popular Corn King pottery and Pennsylvania Dutch lines. The company's pottery is highly collectible and is considered to be of high quality.
