Nicolas Barrome is a French illustrator born in 1980 in Saint-Jean de Luz, France. He grew up in the Pays Basque region and studied at an arts school in Bordeaux before launching his illustration career and creating the collectives Jeanspezial and Les Jeanclode with his friends. His work combines elements of classical painting, contemporary art, and science fiction to create unique visuals that often feature animals, fruits, and vegetables. He has collaborated with various organizations, including La Métairie Bruyère, and has participated in exhibitions and projects such as 'Un Print pour la santé' to benefit the Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière AP-HP.
