Biography:

Nikos Sofialakis (Greek: Νίκος Σοφιαλάκης) was a prominent 20th century Greek sculptor, best known for his characteristic style of Classical Realism. He participated in every Pan-Hellenic Artists Exhibition from 1940–1975 and earned acclaim for his work. Sofialakis worked ardently both within Greece and internationally during the 1960s, which is considered his most productive period.
