Biography:
Otso Aarne Pietinen was a Finnish industrial and advertising photographer. He is known for his photographs of glassware and the sculptures of his wife Eila Hiltunen. Pietinen used a technique called photomontage to create his images, which involved combining multiple photographs into a single image. He also experimented with color photography and was one of the first Finnish photographers to use this medium. Pietinen's work is characterized by its sense of fantasy and imagination, and he is considered one of the most important Finnish photographers of the 20th century.
