Biography:
Ozawa Shusei was a Japanese painter known for his landscape paintings. He was born in Japan in 1870 and died there in 1944. Ozawa studied at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts and later became an influential figure in the Nihonga movement, which sought to revive traditional Japanese painting techniques while incorporating Western influences. His most famous work is "Both Banks of Wu River," painted in 1934.
