Biography:
Pablo Delano is a visual artist and photographer born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1954. He has a keen interest in archives and the lives, histories, and struggles of Latin American and Caribbean communities. Delano's work explores the 'complex and fraught history of U.S. colonialism, paternalism, and exploitation in Puerto Rico.' He is the creator of the ongoing conceptual art installation 'The Museum of the Old Colony' which addresses the complex history of Puerto Rico. Delano is based in West Hartford, Connecticut, USA.
