Biography:
Paul Ambille was a French painter born in Paris in 1907 and died in 1986. He was a member of the Société des Artistes Français and won the Prix de Rome in 1933. He was also a Peintre de la Marine. His work is characterized by his use of vibrant colors and his depiction of maritime scenes. He was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 1955.
