Paul Hippolyte Cauchie was a Belgian architect, painter, and designer born in Ninove, Belgium in 1875. He is best known for designing the Cauchie House in Brussels, Belgium in 1905, which is remarkable for its allegorical sgraffito decoration. Cauchie was a prominent figure in the Art Nouveau movement, and his work was often inspired by natural forms and characterized by a sense of dynamism and movement. He died in 1952.
