Paul Valentine Lantz was an American realist painter who lived and worked primarily in New Mexico. He was born in Stromsberg, Nebraska and spent his early childhood in Montana and Missouri. He studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and was known for his landscapes, illustrations, portraits, and murals.
