Biography:

Paul Vaussane is a French-Mexican artist born in Lyon, France in 1966. After studying human sciences in France, he lived in Mexico and Chile. He had his first solo exhibition in 2000 at the El Círculo Azul gallery in Mexico, followed by several others, mainly in Mexico. He used an exclusive mixed technique (wooden strips, marble powder, pigments, on wooden board or plexiglass) to produce bas-reliefs with geometric motifs until 2005. He is known for his labyrinth-themed works.
