Biography:

Paula Chamlee is an American photographer born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA in 1944. She initially began her career as a painter in the 1980s, but has worked as a photographer since 1990. Primarily self-taught, she works with large view cameras to photograph landscapes. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and is represented in dozens of museums and private collections. She has also contributed to the photographic journal Aperture and penned commentary on the history and techniques of photography.
