Biography:

Paula Ojea is a ceramic artist and civil engineer born in Nigrán, Spain in 1988. She discovered the art of ceramics at the age of four and started attending ceramics school in her hometown. She originally trained as a civil engineer and learned the craft from Emilia Guimeráns and Miguel Vázquez. Her pieces reflect her skills for abstraction and spatial vision. She is based in Vigo, Spain and has been recognized with the Premio Nacional de Artesanía in the category Producto for her colección de cerámica Cut&Fold.
