Biography:

Peter Lewis Krider, also known as P.L. Krider, was a noted American silversmith born in Philadelphia in 1821. He began apprenticing in 1835 with silversmiths John Curry and R. & W. Wilson in Philadelphia. He worked on a farm from ages 10 to 14. He is known for his classical style in silverware. He died in 1895.
