Biography:
Pierre-Yves Magerand is a French artist born in 1968 in Dijon, France. He studied at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts de Dijon and the University of Sciences in Dijon. He is known for his photography, sculpture, and drawing works. His art is influenced by the theory of unconscious inferences of the philosopher and physicist Hermann von Helmholtz. He has exhibited in several galleries and museums in France, including the Villa Arson in Nice and the Cnap in Paris. He currently lives and works in Dijon, France.
