Rafael Lozano-Hemmer is a Mexican-Canadian electronic artist who works with ideas from architecture, technological theater and performance. He was born in Mexico City in 1967 and currently lives and works in Montreal and Madrid. Lozano-Hemmer is known for his interactive installations that use technology to create immersive experiences. His work often explores themes of communication, surveillance, and public space. Some of his most notable projects include 'Pulse Room' (2006), 'Body Movies' (2001), and 'Voice Array' (2011).
