Biography:

Raymond L. Blazevic is a retired naval aviation electronics officer who served in three wars including time as a Prisoner of War in the Korean Conflict. He has lived in Key West since the 1958 where he and his late wife, Shirley, raised four daughters. He is an avid photographer and has contributed to Wikimedia Commons with over 160 photographs. He is known for his photograph of the Mariel Boatlift in 1980, which is part of the Google Arts & Culture collection. He also spoke at the Southernmost VFW Post 3911 in 2015 about his experience as a Prisoner of War. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 99.
