Biography:

Roberta Horton was an American quilter and author. She was born in Los Angeles, California in 1924 and died in 2021. Horton was the founding author of C&T Publishing and wrote many books on quilting, including 'Scrap Quilts: The Art of Making Do' and 'The Fabric Makes the Quilt'. She was also a quilting teacher and a frequent contributor to The Quilt Show. Horton was known for her expertise in scrap quilting and her ability to make the most of limited resources. She was also a founding member of the Quilters' S.O.S. – Save Our Stories project. In 2021, C&T Publishing set up a GoFundMe page to help offset the costs of Horton's memorial service.
