Biography:
Rodolpho Frederico Francisco Lindemann was a German photographer who was active in Brazil between the 1870s and 1890s. He is known for his landscape and urban photography, as well as his portraits. In 1882, he became a partner in the Gaensly & Lindemann studio in Rio de Janeiro, and in 1894, the studio opened a branch in São Paulo. Lindemann is also known for his postcard series featuring women of color in Bahia.
