Biography:

Rogelio López Cuenca is a Spanish visual artist and poet born in 1959 in Nerja, Spain. He began his career as a member of the Agustín Parejo School collective in Málaga in the early 1980s. López Cuenca has participated in numerous exhibitions, both individually and collectively, and his work has been recognized with several awards, including the Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas in 2022. He holds a Doctorate in Fine Arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (2016) and a Licenciado in Philosophy and Letters from the University of Málaga (1983). López Cuenca's work often explores themes related to identity, culture, and the human condition.
