Biography:
Roger Aksadjuak was a Canadian artist born in 1972 and died in 2014. He was known for his work as a stone carver and ceramicist. His father Laurent Aksadjuak was also an artist, and Roger learned both traditional Inuit survival skills and the art of ceramics from him. Roger's work has been exhibited at various galleries including Galerie de l’UQAM and he is known for his imaginative sculptures.
