Biography:

Rolf Goetze was a German artist, born on January 2, 1921, in Berlin. He studied at the Döring-Film-Werken in Berlin and worked as a film reporter for the Wehrmacht from 1942 to 1943. After being captured by American forces in 1944, he was released in 1946 and began his career as a journalist with RIAS in Berlin, where he worked until 1971. He then became the program director of the Deutsche Kultur-Gemeinschaft URANIA Berlin from 1972 to 1975. Goetze later worked as a freelance artist, creating film posters and other artworks. He died on June 17, 1988, in Celle.
