Ronnie Tjampitjinpa is an Australian Aboriginal artist born in 1943 in Papunya, Australia. He is known for his paintings that often depict the Tingari cycle, a network of Aboriginal Dreaming songlines that traverse the Western Desert region of Australia. Tjampitjinpa's works are held in numerous public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Australia and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. He is considered one of the most important contemporary Indigenous Australian artists.
