Biography:

Rosalba Mirabella was born in Tucumán, Argentina in 1975. She is a Licenciada en Artes from the Facultad de Artes at Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. Since the late 1990s, she has participated in individual and collective exhibitions. In 2023, she had an exhibition titled Los Amantes alongside Rodrigo Cañás at Museo Yrutia in Buenos Aires with a grant from Activar Patrimonio of the Secretaría de Patrimonio del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación. She also received the Premio adquisición 8M in 2021, 2022, and 2023 at Casa Nacional de Bicentenario in Buenos Aires. Other notable exhibitions include Como un destello at CNB Contemporánea in 2017 and La Marca Original: Arte Argentino at Centro Cultural Kirchner in 2019. She has also had individual exhibitions such as Ciudad dormitorio at Tokonoma, Buenos Aires, Tres deseos at Espacio Cripta, Tucumán in 2018 with a Beca Bicentenario from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes, and El diario del sol rojo at galería El Taller, Tucumán in 2016. She has participated in residencies for visual artists in Argentina and England. Rosalba Mirabella is also a professor at Facultad de Artes at Universidad Nacional de Tucumán.
