Roy Ferdinand was an American Postwar & Contemporary artist who chronicled life on the backstreets of New Orleans in the years before Hurricane Katrina. He is known for his near-documentary depictions of the city's often violent streets, and his work has been exhibited at various galleries including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Jacksonville.
