Ruth Clide Proffitt, also known as Ruth Clyde Proffitt Gouldin, was born in 1910 in Beaverdam, United States. She was a wife of Arthur Bryan Gouldin. She had two brothers, Herbert Proffitt and Theodore Proffitt, and a sister, Nelda E. Proffitt. She died in 1962 at the age of 52.
