Sally Gall is an American photographer born in Washington, DC in 1956. She is well known for her evocative landscape photographs and has had her work exhibited and published in numerous museums and collections worldwide. Gall travels to remote locations to create timeless photographs that evoke mystery, longing, and trepidation in her viewers. She has received the Hasselblad Masters Award and her work is held in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Bates Museum of Art, among others.
