Biography:
Sally Hazelet Drummond was an American painter known for her meditative works which employed pointillist-like dots of color to produce radiating light. She was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1924 and studied at Columbia University and the Chicago Institute of Design. Drummond's work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Alexandre Gallery, among others. She died in 2017.
