Biography:

Santiago Yaniz Aramendia is a freelance photographer based in the Basque Country with extensive knowledge of all aspects and locations of this northern region of the Iberian Peninsula. He has been working as a professional photographer since 1980 after an extensive self-taught education born out of his passion for photography. He specializes in photographing landscapes, scenery, architecture, heritage, and social events related to customs and ethnography in the Basque Country. His work has been exhibited at various galleries and cultural centers throughout Spain.
