Biography:

Santino Escatel is a Mexican visual artist and co-director of the artistic collective Sector Reforma. He has been involved in the contemporary art scene since 2003, working on projects related to the creation, curation, and documentation of public art. In 2015, he participated in the artist exchange program 'Alegorías a la Migración' between Mexican and Spanish artists. Escatel's work 'Hypermnesia' was created in 2010 and is a digital print on paper. He is also known for his oil painting 'La historia ocurre dos veces: la primera vez como una tragedia y luego como farsa' from 2023. Escatel is active on Instagram with the handle @santinoescatel.
