Biography:
Sara Benaglia is an artist and researcher based in Milan, Italy. She is the founder and curator of BACO-BaseArteContemporaneaOdierna, a non-profit space in Bergamo. She is also a lecturer at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan. Benaglia's work employs installations, acts, drawings, readings, video or text works, with an emphasis on the body as a means of expression. She has published a book titled 'Note ai margini della storia dell'arte' (Notes on the Margins of Art History) in 2023. Benaglia has also been interviewed by Emilio Vavarella and Mauro Zanchi for the online platform ATP Diary.
