Biography:

Sara Enrico is an Italian artist born in Biella in 1979. She lives and works in Turin. She has exhibited her works in Italy and abroad, including Fondazione Nicola Trussardi, Milano; OGR- Torino; Vistamare, Milano / Pescara. She is the co-founder of Laboratorio del Dubbio, a cross-disciplinary project composed in 2016 as short-term residency for artists, researchers and writers in Turin. She is currently a professor of painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti ‘G. Carrara’ di Bergamo. Her work investigates the potential of the surface and the relationships between painting, sculpture and textile, starting from a deconstruction of the codes of painting and tailoring. She has been invited to participate in the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022 with the work 'Milk Dreams'. She is represented by Vistamare Gallery in Milan / Pescara.
