Biography:
Silvio Zanella was an Italian painter. He also worked as a teacher, interior designer, public administrator and museum director. Born on October 9, 1918 in Gallarate, Italy, he studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera with renowned artists such as Carlo Carrà, Aldo Carpi, Achille Funi, Eva Tea and Guido Ballo. Zanella was also involved in organizing exhibitions, conferences, debates and contributed critically to other artists' works. He passed away on June 23, 2003.
