Biography:
Stefano Boccalini is an Italian artist born in Milan in 1963. He studied sculpture at the NABA in Milan and began teaching there in the same year he graduated. He is currently a professor of Public Art at NABA. Boccalini's work explores the relationship between language and reality, often using text and typography in his sculptures and installations. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 2021, he had a solo exhibition at the Musée Maison Tavel in Geneva, Switzerland, titled 'Stefano Boccalini. L’in-comprensibile verità della parola'. Boccalini's work is part of several public and private collections, including the Archivio Gianni Colombo and the Fondazione Scuola del Patrimonio.
