Biography:

Tim Biskup is an American visual artist and designer known for his work in illustration, painting, sculpture, and product design. Born on September 21, 1967, in Santa Monica, California, he realized his passion for art when he visited the Centre Pompidou with his family in 1984. He was exposed to the works of Roberto Matta, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Jean Tinguely during this visit. Biskup enrolled in the Otis College of Art and Design's Fine Art department in 1986 but dropped out in 1988 due to frustration with the emphasis on conceptualizing art rather than learning how to make it.
