Biography:

Tsui Kuang-Yu is a Taiwanese artist born in Taipei in 1974. He has exhibited internationally since 1997, including at the Venice Biennale, Liverpool Biennale, Werkleitz Biennial, Reina Sofia Museum, and ZKM Center for Art and Media. Tsui's work explores the adaptation relation between human and society from a biological point of view and attempts to redefine or question the matrix of the institution we inhabit. He has been featured in catalogues such as 'rendez-vous 09' and has exhibited at the Musée d’art contemporain of Lyon, the Institut d’art contemporain, Villeurbanne/ Rhône-Alpes, and the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon. Tsui currently lives and works in Taipei.
