Biography:

Tullio Pericoli is an Italian painter, illustrator and caricaturist. He was born on October 2, 1936, in Colli del Tronto, near Ascoli Piceno, Italy. In 1961, he moved to Milan where he soon became an established artist. During the 1970s, Pericoli started working regularly for the cartoon magazine "Linus" and the daily newspaper "Corriere della Sera". He is known for his portraits of writers and artists, as well as his landscape paintings and set designs. In addition to his work in visual arts, Pericoli has also written several books on art and culture.
