Biography:

Wee Kong Chai was born in 1928 in Malaysia. He was a painter and sculptor who settled in Singapore in 1952. He was a graduate of the Singapore Academy of Arts from 1957-1960. In 1964, he left for Paris to study at the École Nationale Supérieure Des Beaux-Arts. He is known for his works 'A Scene in Paris' and 'Storyteller'.
