Wen Lipeng

Biography:

Wen Lipeng is the direct successor of Wen Yiduo's artistic viewpoints and personality, and an extraordinary representative of the first generation of oil painters in New China. He is a noted oil painter and retired professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Wen Lipeng created an iconic portrait of his father, Wen Yiduo, a prominent Chinese poet and scholar. He has made significant contributions to the field of oil painting and has been committed to the development of Chinese art, especially Chinese oil painting.
