Biography:
Willem Leendert Bruckman, also known as William Leendert Bruckman; Willem Leonardus Bruckmann; William L. Bruckman; and as William Leonard Bruckman, was born in The Hague, The Netherlands on 11 March 1866. He studied architecture and painting in The Hague and in Paris. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Arts in London and exhibited his works in various galleries in Europe. He was known for his landscapes and cityscapes, and his style was influenced by the French Impressionists. He died in The Hague on 11 March 1928.
