La comida del tirador en los objetivos del pie o San Jorisdoelen en Amsterdam para celebrar la conclusión de la paz de Munster, 18 de junio de 1648. Se proponen los siguientes: Capitán Cornelis Jansz Witsen (con el cuerno de la bebida de plata), el teniente Johan Oetgens van Waveren (que sacude su mano), el alférez Jacob Banningh (que está junto al gran tambor), Dirck Claesz Thoveling y Thomas Hartog (sergeants), Pieter van Hoorn, Willem Pietersz van der Voort En el gran tambor cuelga un papel con un poema de Jan Vos. A través de las ventanas abiertas la fachada de la cervecería "el Cordero" en el Singel es visible. A la derecha, una mujer trae un pastel de pavo. En la mesa hay platos de estaño, rumores y otros vasos. A la izquierda hay un gran enfriador de metal con un barril de vino.
