Photograph of a military funeral in Barcelona in July 1936, led by the General of the Civil Guard, José Aranguren Roldán. Colonel Escobar also appears in the picture, which was taken by the photojournalist Agustín Centelles i Osso, who received Spain’s national fine art award (Premio Nacional de las Bellas Artes) for photography in 1984.
