Alice Channer’s floor-based sculpture ‘Amphibians’ combines machined, hand-carved and polished marble elements with aluminium casts of stretch-fit Top Shop clothing, coloured elastics and mirror-polished stainless steel which has been digitally cut and industrially rolled along hand-drawn lines. The dialogue between the industrially or post-industrially produced and the hand-made is articulated through all of Channer
