Alberto Ferreras is a New York-based artist born in 1961. He is a writer, filmmaker, and photographer, known for his work in the Spanish-speaking community. Ferreras has written and directed several films, including 'Carmen Miranda: Bananas is My Business' (1995) and 'Comandante' (2003), a documentary about Cuban leader Fidel Castro. He has also written for several television shows, including 'The West Wing' and 'Law & Order'.
