Olga Iney is a contemporary Russian artist from Moscow. She began her creative journey in the early 2000s with graffiti, inspired by the popularity of hip-hop culture in Russia. After graduating from university with a degree in psychology, Olga attended the British School of Design, where she experimented with various materials and techniques. Her interest in Russian folklore led her to transform characters and create new ones, blending traditional motifs with modern reality. Iney's works include paintings, wooden panels, and murals, characterized by a rich and contrasting color palette. Her art explores Russian and Russian culture, values, symbols, heroes, and rituals, aiming to expand knowledge about her homeland through the reinterpretation of its artifacts. As an illustrator and designer, Olga creates objects from wood and paints extensively.
