Quinto Cenni was an Italian painter, engraver, lithographer and illustrator who specialized in depicting military personnel and their uniforms. He was born in Imola, Italy in 1845 and died in Carnate, Italy in 1917. Cenni studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna and later at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. He worked for numerous periodicals, including L'illustrazione italiana and La revista illustrata, and was the editor of L'Illustrazione Militare Italiana from 1887 to 1897. Cenni is known for his detailed illustrations of military uniforms and equipment, and his work can be found in numerous museums and collections, including the Ufficio Storico dello Stato Maggiore dell'Esercito in Rome.
