Agostino Veneziano, also known as Agostino de' Musi, was a prolific Italian engraver of the Renaissance. Born in Venice around 1490, he trained as an artist and initially copied prints by Albrecht Dürer and Giulio Campagnola before producing his own works. He spent time in Florence and Rome, joining Marcantonio Raimondi's printmaking workshop by 1516. After the Sack of Rome in 1527, he returned to Venice and later visited Mantua and Florence before returning to Rome until at least 1536.
