In 1906, Anna Macpherson Cummings met Norman de Garis Davies in Alexandria, Egypt. They married in Hampstead, London, on October 8, 1907. The couple settled near the Theban Necropolis, where they began documenting tomb paintings. Anna spent her time creating drawings for the Metropolitan Museum and replicating tomb paintings for Alan Gardiner, which became part of collections at other museums.
Anna Macpherson Cummings passed away on April 21, 1965. Her contributions to the field of Egyptology and her artistic talents have left a lasting impact.
