David Haines and Joyce Hinterding are a collaborative art duo based in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales. They have been collaborating on art and research projects since 1995. Their work spans various media, including drawing, photography, video, sound, and installation. They are known for their investigations into the unseen forces that accompany our existence, such as electromagnetic fields, cosmic rays, and the earth's magnetic field. They have exhibited widely in Australia and internationally, including at the Biennale of Sydney, the Venice Biennale, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. They are represented by Sarah Cottier Gallery in Sydney.
